Surrounded by tall trees, the chapel of Mesosporitissa, above the shores of Lake Marathon, offers a wonderful view to the hiker and at the same time drinking water from the fountain located in its grounds. Outside the church, the huge marble table with its carvings, transports you to a Roman villa, turning back time.
